Assessor/Trainer

Bournemouth & Poole College has an exciting opportunity for an Assessor/Trainer (NHS) to join their team. This is a part time role offering a competitive salary of £24,035 pro rata.

The Assessor/Trainer  Role:

You will be responsible for workplace assessing (observations) and, at times, training students undertaking the Level 2 and Level 3 Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship as well as any other related NHS or Health based programmes. 

In addition, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the assessment processes through Internal Verification, both in the workplace and within the College.

Student Finance Advisor

Bournemouth & Poole College has an exciting opportunity for a Student Finance Advisor to join their team. This is a full time fixed term contract from 5th August 2019 – 15th November 2019 offering a competitive salary of £17,636 per annum pro rota.

You will ensure, in conjunction with the Student Welfare Coordinator, that all applications for Student Finance are assessed within published and agreed turnaround times.

You’ll ensure that students can access and have information on Student Finance information as well as provide an outstanding Front of House service for Student Experience areas.

You will deliver high quality and effective teaching and learning to Bournemouth and Poole College Degree students. The post holder will be a Fluent Maya trainer/user and be highly proficient in 3DS Max. The post holder may also act as a personal tutor to students.

Specialist Practitioner/Assessor

The Specialist Practitioner/Assessor Role:

The Specialist Practitioner supports, teaches and identifies needs of learners across the College on all programmes, including Higher Education. They provide 1-1 and small group support for all SEND students, particularly those within their specialism; work closely with a caseload area providing training, advice and support to teaching teams in implementing reasonable adjustments in order to increase the independence of learners.
