If so, Bournemouth and Poole College are looking for a Lecturer to join their Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing team in Poole. As part of our Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing team, you will deliver high quality and effective teaching to Bournemouth and Poole College students. You will be working with both full time students and apprentice learners working toward their Engineer Qualification. We are looking for someone with a dynamic and innovative approach, who has a passion for building excellent working relationships and an adaptable attitude to working with students of all ages.

As an Engineering Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality and effective teaching and learning to the students. You may also act as a personal tutor to students. Duties will include designing learning packages linking to the “learning for all” curriculum, assessing learner progress and maintaining records of assessment in order to agree precise, clear and innovative learning plans, as well as undertaking such other reasonable duties as the line manager may require.
Key responsibilities, skills and attitudes
· In depth knowledge of Engineering, high level Maths, Engineering Principles and Mechatronics
· In depth knowledge of BTEC Engineering programmes to a minimum of level 3
· Previous experience industrial experience in a relevant Engineering environment
· Computer literate
· Excellent organisational skills
· Engineering or equivalent qualification to level 3
