The Role: 

As our IT Services Co-ordinator, you will be engaging with key members of the team, our internal stakeholders and external suppliers, to deliver outstanding customer support and the timely ordering and delivery of the goods and services we need.  The role supports the provision of timely responses to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) requests. 

This is a dynamic administrative and customer support role, providing support to the MITS team and the wider college community. 

 

Responsibilities as our IT Services Co-ordinator: 

  • Acting as the point of contact on behalf of Senior MITS Staff, supporting their administration.
  • Proactively responding to enquiries from customers and suppliers.
  • Developing our online support pages to provide our students and staff with appropriate guidance and support information.
  • Developing and delivering online and in person training activities for our students and staff to provide regular information around Internet Safety, Cyber Security and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
  • Handling and processing financial information ensuring correct college procedures are followed.
  • Monitoring expenditure against agreed budget.
  • Maintaining records of service usage and resources,
  • Seeking quotes from suppliers for goods and services.

 

As our IT Services Co-ordinator, you’ll ideally have: 

  • Four Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications including English and maths
  • Level 3/4 qualification in relevant subject e.g. customer service, business admin or a willingness to attain.
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of maintaining and improving administration systems
