About the role:

As the Welcome Team Specialist, you will report to the Welcome Team Co-ordinator.  The purpose of the role is to support our students throughout the entire application and enrolment journey by helping to streamline, develop and retain new and prospective students whilst creating a fantastic student experience and ultimately increase College income.

Responsibilities as our Welcome Team Specialist will include: 

  • Being responsible for managing a designated caseload of prospective students throughout their journey from application all the way through to enrolment. This will be target driven to ensure caseload deadlines are achieved.
  • Building rapport to create and maintain an excellent working relationship with both parents, 16-18-year-old students and adult learners throughout the application and enrolment process.
  • Maintaining keeping warm activity to keep our students up to date with a diverse range of information before they enrol with us.
  • Liaising with curriculum on a regular basis to identify answers to queries and find solutions to more complex issues.
  • Regularly reviewing system and student issues raised and work with all related departments to resolve and improve data and meet the cross-college administrative requirements. Offer support and advice to curriculum staff on processes as required.
  • Providing clear and consistent information to our students about the enrolment process so that they are clear of what is required of them and when they need to complete enrolment activities. This includes communicating information to parents and carers as required.
  • Processing late applications and interviews efficiently, ensuring a quick turnaround from application to enrolment.

 

As our Instructor in Welcome Team Specialist, you’ll ideally have: 

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • Flexible approach including the ability to work in the evening
  • Well-organised, reliable, and approachable
  • Experience working in a busy office environment and managing a diverse caseload
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent administration skills, and ability to maintain complex records with a high level of accuracy
